- April 9, 2012-Sent in registration form for Home Study
- April 10, 2012-Submitted Adoption Application
- April 12, 2012-Interviewed with Adoption Ministry
- April 12, 2012-Waiting to be matched with our baby!
- April 30, 2012- Submitted Home Study paperwork
- May 4, 2012- Completed Adoption Training Classes
- May 26, 2012- Completed 1st Home Study interview
- June 4, 2012-Hired Adoption Attorney
- June 9, 2012- 2nd & final Home Study interview
- June 11, 2012- Approved Home Study
- June 18, 2012-Changed agencies/Submitted new agency paperwork
- June 26, 2012- Listed live on the website. Waiting for our match!
- August 14, 2012- Recieved a call from our agency! We have been matched with a birthmom in labor!
- August 15, 2012-Our baby boy born!
- August 15, 2012-Fly across country to meet birthmom and baby!
- August 17, 2012- Baby John discharged from hospital & papers signed with lawyer! We have a son!!!!
- December 27, 2012- Our adoption is finalized! John is now & forever officially an O'Brien!
